Dee grew up and attended school in Kansas City, Kansas. After graduating from Washington High School, she received a scholarship to attend the KCKCJC (Kansas City Kansas Community Junior College) where she attended her first year of college before moving to her mother’s hometown of Fergus Falls. Dee then attended her second year of college at the FFCC (Fergus Falls Community College) where she received her Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts.
After graduating from the Fergus Falls Community College, Dee was accepted into the airlines and went on to enjoy a 25 year flying career as a Flight Attendant with TWA & American Airlines.
The highlight of her career was in being chosen to be part of the flight crew aboard two extended worldwide tours carrying President George Bush Senior’s Secret Service and Press Core. Dee visited many wonderful parts of the world, as well as making many new friends along the way.
Since returning to Fergus, she enjoys sharing time with her family, friends, and her dog, Dakota.
